Henry Golding is starring in a Guy Ritchie movie next

Henry Golding is adding another starring role to his resume.

12 Oct – 'Crazy Rich Asian' might soon be an apt moniker for Henry Golding as the British-Malaysian actor has landed yet another starring role in a major movie.

This time the Sarawak-born 31-year-old will be leading a Guy Ritchie movie, alongside Matthew McConaughey and Kate Beckinsale, Variety reports.

Golding's character, or any of his co-stars', has yet to be revealed. It is only known that Ritchie will be directing them from a script the English filmmaker penned himself with Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson.

The movie, "Toff Guys", is a British crime drama film said to be in the same vein as Ritchie's older gangster hits like "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch".

It tells of a British drug lord who sells off his highly profitable empire to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires in an attempt to cash out on it.

It will also explore the clash between European "old money" and the modern marijuana industry.

This will be Golding's third lead role since starring in "Crazy Rich Asians", which he followed up with a leading role opposite Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick in "A Simple Favor" and last month, he was announced as the male lead for "Last Christmas" with Emilia Clarke as the leading lady.
