Wu Chun wants Malaysian fans to catch "Guardians of the Tomb"

Wu Chun was in Malaysia recently to promote his new movie, "Guardians of the Tomb".

1 Feb – Wu Chun returns to the big screen after four years, playing the character Luke Li in China-Australia production, "Guardians of the Tomb".

To promote his new movie, the Bruneian actor recently made a stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, taking the chance to meet his Malaysian fans too.

A Meet & Greet event with Wu Chun was held at 1 Utama Shopping Centre last Monday, 29 January, where throngs of fans patiently waited for hours at the Lower Ground Oval area before the former Fahrenheit member even arrived at the venue.

By 8pm, the fans' patience was rewarded as the 38-year-old appeared on stage wearing a bright smile on his face.

Aside from happily greeting his fans, he also took photos with several lucky ones and distributed signed posters to the enthusiastic crowd.

Noticing that the mall was beautifully decorated with Chinese New Year decorations, the actor even took the chance to wish his fans a happy and prosperous New Year.

Prior to the event, the "Guardians of the Tomb" actor had met with the media at a press conference earlier in the day at Le Meridien Hotel KL, where he admitted that despite his arachnophobia, he had fun filming the spider-infested movie.

When asked why he accepted the role even though he has a fear of spiders, he laughingly replied, "I know it's fake!"

He also shared that he was impressed by the special effects makeup, despite having to sit through it for 4 hours, as it turned out very realistic and horrific to look at.

The actor said that working alongside Li Bingbing, who was also the producer of the movie, and Kellan Lutz ("Twilight") was a fun experience. Even working on the production, which was shot mostly in Australia, was a different experience as it was less jam-packed than the ones he filmed in China; he sometimes had the chance to relax on the Australian beach whenever he wasn't shooting any scene.
